goodbye, summer…

What a perfect way to say goodbye to summer with a fun beach shoot in Stone Harbor. I shot some of this family before…add a couple cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma and grandpa and it makes it even more fun! I think there may even be a couple potential models in the group

an absolutely adorable couple

i did this shoot a few weeks ago. I was a little hesitant on posting it because it is a maternity shoot and I know that moms can be shy about them. But this is such a cute couple - I get the feeling he absolutely adores her - so I just couldn’t resist. Plus, they recently had the baby and all you moms know that once you have a baby, you aren’t shy about *anything* after that experience

This shoot was a little different than my normal stuff…she wanted two different looks…one being a more traditional, natural, look using window light. I had fun changing it up a bit. And he had fun loving up on her - you should have seen some of the outtakes haha…

you guys were a blast…thank you so much…and CONGRATS!! see you this week with your new addition!

when one phrase from a Black Eyed Peas song is constantly going though my head…”why don’t you put it on the blog”…somebody is trying to tell me something. I get the message loud and clear…I have to be a little more consistent with this ;)

Well, I have a really cute baby to show off so that should be motivation enough, right? Here we go…I was fortunate enough to meet this little guy at just 11 days old. Such a munchkin…I just love how he has already filled out yet he still sleeps though it all…makes for perfect baby pics. I even got a smile…i think he likes me

i just love them when they are this little…perfect little angels. I can put them in whatever position I want, maneuver them just so - and they don’t talk back(unlike my 6 year old)…I love it!…the only downside is the loads of laundry I have to do after the shoot because they pee on EVERYTHING…but they are soooo cute so I guess it’s worth it

Meet little Troy. Perfect little angel through the whole session…well, except for when he peed on dad, but that scores points in my book

i shoot big kids too…

and who knew it would be so fun??? ok, well normally I only shoot kids but I will compromise if the adults act like kids. This was a very special shoot for a very special reason…one that I was quite honored that I was asked to do. It truly touched my heart to see see the love this family had for one another…yes, they all had their differences - the sisters stole each others clothes, one was goofy, one was serious, dad was the planner and wanted to know every detail and what was going to happen next….mom was just like “relax, big guy”. But they genuinely loved one another. The real thing I loved: mom and dad were together since college (and still seemd to be going strong - I love it)! I didn’t think that happened anymore…I love it. Truly a BEAUTIFUL family! So happy I got to be able to hang out with them for a couple hours.

seriously, how cute is she? and the unbelievable part…she is pregnant with twins - due in May!!! How she has two babies in there I don’t know but she can pull it off. I had such a good time today with this couple…so nice and easy going. Thank you Ali and Joe.,…and congrats!!! (let me know when you’re on fb so I can post these ;))

i am so in love with this session….i could not have asked for a better location. The session was held at the family’s vineyard in Mickleton, ( check out Wagonhouse Winery ). And it was gorgeous. Three little boys in jeans and rain boots - seriously? I so loved it!

love, love this one.. I just love how one pant leg is in and one is out…it’s the imperfections that make perfection
