This is William. Seven months old and full of personality. I think I got every expression imaginable out of this little guy - including a ton of smiles (don’t worry). Such a pleasant little dude the whole time - even when he peed on his mom (told you happens every time).
every newborn session, parents come in and say the same thing “what if the baby pees or poops”? And every newborn session, the baby pees or poops - well, usually pees, poops and throws up. And every single time, mom and dad are sooooo apologetic, thinking their kid is the only one that does this. I SWEAR, it really does happen every time. I am ready for it. It’s bound to happen when baby is naked for a couple hours. It’s ok and your baby really isn’t the only one who does it. I actually think it is pretty funny to watch your reactions as it it happens…this one is priceless.
Maybe I will publish my own coffee table book of these outtakes….

and it was so much fun. after just about every outdoor shoot being rained out during the month of June, I finally caught a break. A beautiful day and two beautiful, fun AND well behaved girls. Such a blast - we got to talk about Hannah Montana, princesses, Tinkerbell, Dora, iCarly, the list goes on…Thank god I have two kids that make it their full time job to educate me on this stuff

I just wanted to post real quick to wish all the daddy’s out there a Happy Father’s Day!!! For a lot of you, it’s your first Father’s Day, so I hope you enjoy.
Such is the case for Jace’s dad so I thought it only fitting to post a daddy/son pic. Congratulations to Laura and Michael. They welcomed little Jace into the world on May 29th. I have to say, I love the name - so different!

so many babies lately - what is going on? honestly, I have never been this busy with so many newborns. Sometimes, i can’t even tell them apart anymore (I probably shouldn’t be telling you that). The other day I got an order back from the lab and it was a mixture of a couple babies. I just sat on the floor trying to figure out who went with who. To top it off, my brother and sister-in-law just had twins on Friday - thank god one is a boy and one is a girl or I would be in some serious trouble telling them apart.
On to Bella and Angelina… Bella was last here when she was about 10 days old- she was my very last shoot before I went on maternity leave to have Logan so she has a special place in my heart ;) And when you look at this face…she is so adorable. Who can resist it?
And now Bella is a big sis…here is little Angelina….

i think I was getting on her nerves because I kept telling her how great she looked - but she truly looks amazing. And to top it off, she was up for just about anything. When she pulled out the cowboy boots and cut off shorts, I knew it was going to be a good shoot. Then out came the heels….Thank you so much, B, for being such a trooper. I had so much fun with this one…

I have been having so much fun with with my sessions lately and this was no exception. This is Olivia. Her shoot was in the making for quite some time. We had to re-schedule a few times due to some minor mishaps - including Olivia giving herself a haircut Well, the hair finally grew in and out came the sassy side of Olivia and what resulted was a really fun shoot with some great results.

maybe I am being a little corny this morning but I just wanted to say I **really** love my clients! I just got an email from one of my clients showing me how they displayed their photos in their home. I love to see this stuff - I love to see the end result. Last week, I received a few emails from clients showing me updated pics of their little ones. It is so fun for me to see babies a couple months later as they are growing and changing. I have such a cool job! Thank you!

This was such a FUN shoot! The kids were adorable and a ball to work with (the dad…well…not so much - only kidding, Chris!) Actually, they were all great. This was a surprise for Mom for Mother’s Day. Dad actually came with a whole new wardrobe for the kids - pretty impressive. AND he cooperated while we played around and did both indoor and outdoor shoots. Usually dads have very little patience for this stuff so I was amazed
But onto the kids - totally adorable. And a blast. They were so into this shoot….especially when we got to the outdoor part. It’s so funny to see kids come in and want nothing to do with the whole process. Then, 20 minutes into it, they are fighting each other for a turn. It’s all in how you present it to them…obviously, there’s some psychology to it. And in the end, I have usually tricked them into seeing things my way - that this is fun!
I hope Mom liked her present!

I went to Target today (yes, I am ALWAYS in Target). Whenever I make one of my daily trips to Target, it never fails that I run into a client. And, today was no exception….of course it is while I am screaming like a wild woman for Logan to sit down in the cart - and then I see this lady looking at me and I am thinking she is going to call someone on me for making my kid cry…but then I realize it was Marie!!! Her two daughters are the upside down girls that I use in a lot of marketing stuff. Anyway, she proceeds to tell me how much she enjoys reading my blog…I guess it can be entertaining if you like reading the same post over and over (and over, and over). Ughhhh, I haven’t updated my blog in forever. (now I feel even more dumb). So I promised I would update today just for Marie….and here we are…
